  • Is red light safe?
    Red light is a great non-invasive, safe complement to your health care regiment. There are no major side effects to using red light as part of your session. A few things to be aware of: Red light should not be used if you have any kind of photosensitivity conditions, such as lupus, or if you are taking any medications that make you photosensitive. While the use of red light is generally safe, studies have not been done in relation to pregnancy. If you have any of the conditions mentioned, please make us aware ahead of your first session.
  • How does red light work?
    Red light works by being applied to the skin. It penetrates around 6 millimeters into the body where applied and works by causing the mitochondria of the cell to work more efficiently and provide additional energy to the body. The body uses this additional energy to heal your cells and regulate your hormones, which directly impact your mood. Read more about red light therapy here.
  • Does red light have to be used as part of my session?
    Red light does not need to be used as part of your session. You can still receive the benefit of hypnotherapy without the addition of red light. Your results may just take a little longer to achieve. If you wish to not use red light as part of your session, just let us know and we'll be glad to accommodate.

  • Is hypnotherapy safe?
    It's completely safe. Hypnotherapy simply relaxes you so that you can safely process and clear the anxiety and stress holding you back from becoming the best version of you. You will never go deeper into hypnosis than you are ready for or process more than what you are ready to let go. You're here because you already have things that you're ready to let go of and that's exactly what you will be guided to do during your hypnotherapy sessions.
  • Hypnotherapy seems scary and I'm afraid of losing control during the session. What exactly should I expect?
    Hypnotherapy sessions allow you to deeply relax. You'll be in control the entire session. You will not do anything you don't want to do. You'll actually be surprised as good you'll feel after you finish a session!
  • Will I lose consciousness and do things against my will that I won't remember when I become conscious again?
    You will always be aware. You may be very relaxed, but always know what you are experiencing. Occasionally, you may get so relaxed you fall asleep and that will be no different than any other time you take a nap.
